This site contains a variety of information about our gallery: about Sint-Martens-Latem and of course about the artists that have provided this picturesque village on the Leie with a place in the history of Belgian art.

It is of course impossible to present the entire story of Latem here. This would do an injustice to the various publications that have been written on the artists' village and its artists. We refer instead to the selection of art books about Latem that are still available today at the gallery or in second-hand bookshops.

Oscar De Vos began his activities as art dealer more than thirty years ago. In the beginning, the beautiful mill of Sint-Martens-Latem was his home and work area. In 1992, NV Gallery Oscar De Vos was established, which would further specialise in the art of Latem.
