Travel to the United States, acquaintance with the newest developments in minimal art.

Moves from the city of Dordrecht to Friesland.

Visits Italy's marble quarries for the first time, a journey she undertook by hitchhiking.

Creation of her key work 'Staand meisje' (1972, reg.no. 27).

Start of the collaboration with the marble studios of Pietrasanta, Italy.

Awarded the Charlotte van Pallandt Prize.

First commission for a sculpture in public space, for the Maliebaan in Utrecht.
